Summary

This release introduces a filtered job report download feature and an improved AI scoring system for on-site and hybrid job postings. Recruiters can now download candidate reports filtered by status (all, shortlisted, or rejected) directly from the job details page. Additionally, the AI candidate scoring now applies a deterministic penalty for location mismatches on both on-site and hybrid positions, preventing candidates in different cities from being shortlisted for roles that require local presence.

Job Report Download with Candidate Filtering

Download Reports Filtered by Candidate Status

The job details page now features an enhanced "Download Report" dropdown menu that allows recruiters to download job reports filtered by candidate status. Previously, the report included all candidates — now you can choose exactly which candidates to include.

Features:

  • Download Report Dropdown: Clean dropdown menu on the job details page header
  • All Applicants: Download the full report for every candidate in the job pipeline
  • Shortlisted Only: Download a report containing only shortlisted candidates
  • Rejected Only: Download a report containing only rejected candidates
  • Quick Access: All options accessible from a single dropdown button

How It Works:

1. Navigate to the Job Details page

2. Click the "Download Report" dropdown button in the header

3. Select the desired filter option:

  • All Applicants — Includes every candidate in the report
  • Shortlisted Only — Includes only candidates with shortlisted status
  • Rejected Only — Includes only candidates with rejected status

4. The filtered report downloads automatically

On-Site and Hybrid Location Mismatch Penalty for AI Scoring

Smarter Candidate Filtering for On-Site and Hybrid Jobs

The AI candidate scoring system now applies a deterministic 25-point penalty when a candidate's location does not match the job location for on-site and hybrid positions. This prevents candidates in completely different cities or countries from being shortlisted for roles requiring local presence, even if they score highly on skills and experience.

Features:

  • 25-Point Score Penalty: Applied when job is on-site or hybrid and candidate location doesn't match
  • Enhanced AI Prompt: Stricter evaluation criteria for on-site and hybrid location matching
  • Visible Concern Entry: Location mismatch penalty is shown in the candidate review details
  • Logged Penalty: Server logs record when the penalty is applied for transparency
  • No Impact on Remote Jobs: Penalty only applies to on-site and hybrid job postings

How It Works:

1. When the AI reviews a candidate for an on-site or hybrid job, it strictly compares the candidate's location with the job location

2. If the candidate is not in the same city or commutable area, `canWorkInLocation` is set to false

3. A 25-point penalty is subtracted from the final score

4. A concern entry is added: *"Location mismatch: Candidate location does not match job location. Score reduced by 25 points."*
